About Me
I am a first-year Ph.D. student in Cognition and Perception at New York University, where I work with Noga Zaslavsky in the InfoCog Lab. I completed my M.S. in Psychology at Arizona State University with Ben Falandays, studying cumulative cultural evolution through Bayesian learning. My background is in physics: my B.S. at Shahid Beheshti University in Iran shaped my interest in complexity and emergent phenomena.
Research Focus
I am interested in how language and mental representations evolve in humans and machines.
